http://www.ayseyilmaz.com/ looks OK (ongoing development) in Firefox, but looks really bad (only less than half of the site is visible) when accessed with IE 8. Any ideas?

This is a simple mistake that many people make and that is pasting in articles from word. As you will see from the code below, your website is full of articles you have pasted from word. Word puts all sorts of odd html in its files. While word can understand them IE8 cannot. Firefox does a better job of interpreting it but it is not foolproof.

If you have written an article in word and want it on your website then fortunately the TinuMCE editor has a neat button. Unfortunately it is not displayed by default. You have to go into the Editor-TinyMCE plugin from your joomla admin panel and set it to extended mode. You will then have a nice little icon of a clipboard with a “w” on it. Use that button to paste items from word into your pages.

You will beed to re-import all your articles this way if you want your site to operate as it should.
