The picture module on the side was really easy I just copied any module and renamed it pictures then I simply cut and paste the Joomla Rochea template sample with the houses on the left side, I replaced the links and images with my own in the box for content inside the module and that was that.
The spotllght module, I just inserted a link into the outside link box in the module….to be honest I would rather have it like yours where you have to click on the text.
