I am new to joomla and This is my first joomla site based on JA Sanidine II template. please comment on it thanks any comment to to improve would be helpful

Well done. Site looks quite polished and plenty of content to fill it up.

However, 2 things i have note after randomly browsing around
1) Video link links to a totally different look and feel site. Maybe you can try exploring some video plugins for Joomla so as to incorparate the videos into your site.
2) Under Global, many portions of the map is unclickable and the user needs to randomly move the mouse around to find which portion is clickable. maybe change the coloring for the clickable portions? also, United States is whole if North and South America Continents in the map? hehe. just feels weird when i mouse over it and saw US and the continents popped out.

My Site

Looks ok, I found the frontpage was rather long and looked a bit cluttered at 1024 x768 ( I normally view at 1440)+ but thought this is probably your target resolution.

The quotes from the cardinal etc on the front page looks shocking in FF 3.06 as the text is stretched without being magnified and looks like a poorly presented system font 🙂 I see on a subsequent page the articles are proper sized and text looks fine. you may wish to address this.

I agree the video player being a totally different background from site colour scheme may be a design concern? The need to use the back button to continue to use the site after playing a video may be a pain for some (me included) , I’d prefer to open a new window to view videos thus keeping ppl at the site, this approach also may help address the different colour of the video player panel from the normal site colours etc.

Overall you have done well, congratulations! there are several minor spelling mistakes in some blurbs and a few extra spacings creating gaps in text, but I take it the authors may not be native english speakers 🙂 and will improve with proof reading.

I like your site and the video gallery.can you tell what kind of script you used to develop this video gallery.i think this kind of video gallery is not a joomla based one.i think it based on flash…

A really nice site, many congratulations. For your first Joomla site, that’s an excellent job!

My only criticism would be some problem with the alignment in your ‘subscribe to rss’ module:

It just looks a bit messy! Otherwise, great work.

Hi, I would say quite impressive. The things mentioned above, co me you have already changed, that’s good. and some would be a help to your site.

Thanks jsliao i am updating world map. i tried to put my video gallery in a wrapper but the fullscreen function of my player is not working. i am trying to find a way to change it’s background. i cannot find a custom joomla plugin that meets my needs.

Thanks ShannonN, i am updating cardinal image. yes it was system fonts. i updated to open my videos in different window. i am looking for a proof reader. soon all typos will be fixed.

thanks dumindard for your comment. my player was a donation.. i think he bought it from flashcomponets.
