How do I get the template layout to look exactly like it is in the one I downloaded. I want all the components to be there so I can just change to suit my needs. Also, I want the logo to fit so it doesnt cover the menu items.
Thankyou
Mary:confused:

January 10, 2010 at 2:09 am #328844Hi,
You will need to upload the Quickstart package and click on ‘install sample data’. I can do this for you if you wish but please edit your post and remove your login details as there are some people who will log in to do harm.
Cheers,
J.

January 10, 2010 at 2:28 am #328846That would be so kind if you could do it for me. I hope you don’t mind. I’ll remove my login details.
Kind regards

January 10, 2010 at 2:45 am #328847Hi,
No problem, it will only take a few minutes. Could you send me your cPanel login details by PM and I will begin.
It will erase everything that is currently on the site and replace it with a exact copy of the JoomlaArt Demo site.
Cheers,
Jason.

Thank you. I’ll begin the re-install now and let you know when it’s done. Don’t forget to delete those login details 🙂
Cheers,

January 10, 2010 at 3:17 am #328853Hi Mary,
All done, I’ve also adjusted your Logo area so it fits nicely now 🙂
The login details for Joomla is the same as the last ones you gave. Username ends in n and the password ends in 3
You will just need to change the email addresses to your own as I don’t know yours so my address is currently there.
Cheers,
Jason.

Wow!. Thank you so much Jason. I’ve been struggling with this for so long.
I’m not sure about email address part but i’ll check it out. I don’t think I’ve ever used it.
Thanks again.

If you can’t find the email parts, just send me your email address and I’ll put it in tomorrow. Just going to get some sleep now 🙂

Hope I didn’t keep you up! Jason I can’t see where the email address is. Is it my home email or the ST email. If not, i’ll send through my home email.
I would like to move the ST logo up a bit, probably to centre between the menu line and the top. Can you tell me how to do that. I’m just teaching myself a bit about CSS and I know where the logo bit goes but I couldn’t see the positioning aspect.
Thanks Maryjay973 Friendjay973

January 11, 2010 at 3:27 am #328930Hi Mary,
No problem. I’ve changed the email address to the one you specified. To move the logo up a little, look for these lines at around line 945 in your template.css file:
h1.logo, div.logo-text {
float:left;
padding-top:30px;
position:relative;
}And change the ‘padding-top:30px;’ to something like 20px which should do the trick.
Many thanks,
Jason.
