July 29, 2007 at 10:22 pm #225558Installing the template is easy.
Go to Installers > Templates site and browse for the template zip file, upload the file, then click continue, then set the Shopping II template as the site default.
There are no other install directions than the user guide at this time. JA is working on a tutorials forum, and this will be added to the list of tutorials I will be creating for that forum.
I have found that if you read the user guide carefully, you can usually glean enough information from it to get the template to look like the demo.
You can also usually find answers to spesific questions in the approporate forum for your template. Read some of the other posts, you might find the answer you are looking for.ErikThorsen FriendErikThorsen

Let us know if you need any further information in regards to installing the template ( I would assume you also need to learn a bit about modules and positioning of modules and such ) You could also browse through the new tutorial site. That would most likely give you lots of information and be very helpful in the future building of your site.July 31, 2007 at 10:32 pm #225860Hi thanks for the replies

My new question is: With the Joomlart JA2 Shopping template, my main menu is also displayed on top and I do not know how to edit it. The items go right into the logo which is ugly .Other templates do not display the main menu leke this
See here what I mean..: Home About us..etc is displayed on the left AND on top
How do i configure this top menubar coming from your template

August 1, 2007 at 8:17 am #225966If you already have the menu items to the left, why don’t you just unpublish the topmenu and leave the mainmenu?

August 1, 2007 at 9:56 pm #226061Go to Menu > Top menu, and edit the menu items to your hearts content. 🙂
August 2, 2007 at 9:23 pm #226160Sorry I do not mean the top menu
I mean the menu ABOVE the main menu displaying exactly the same as my main menu
this comes from the template and I would like to know how to edit it
