Hello,

Do you know if we can sort the display of articles in a JA Side News Module, by date of publication of articles?

If yes, what should I change to do that, please?

You can do that go to Administrator site:

In Article Manager you post sort the display of articles and click button read more below add more detail description

Thank you, I saw the video clip guide but I have already set up my module. What I want is to sort the display of articles in a JA Side News Module, by date of publication of articles. Is it possible ?
What I’m supposed to change on code (for example) to do that ?

In JA Side News Module: you can config SETTINGS show date, show read more, sort the display of articles…

And if you want to modify front end JA Side News Module, you change default file <blockquote>modules/mod_jasidenews/tmpl/default.php</blockquote>
or side news file: <blockquote>modules/mod_jasidenews/tmpl/sidenews_content.php</blockquote>

Hi Yoohappy!

JA Sidenews provides us 3 options for user to sort articles:

– Date
– Order
– Hits.

You could change “Articles Sorted By” parameter in admin -> extensions -> modules manager and edit JA Sidenews.
