I have seen many threads about JA Slideshow not working and I think its possible the one I have is an old version from the Droid Quickstart.

I have updated to J3.2.3 and not sure if this is why but when I try to save it does nothing can you help please

Further reading and the Extension manager was also not updating anything but after reading how to set this up I have updated the module and all is working!

So to summarize…

Go to the update manager and correct the settings then update the module.
