I’ve installed JA-Opal on GoDaddy and I’m attempting to place the JA Slide Show 2 on the ja-slideshow position. This should be the same as the demo/user guide istall on Joomla-Art.

I am not able to see anything in the ja-slideshow location. If change the location to ja-contentslide the slide show appears at the bottom of the page.

Does this ring a bell with anyone.

I did not use the quick install, Joomla 1.5.11 was intalled and the template was install in from a tmp directory on the site.

    PROBLEM MODIFICATION FOLLOWS:

Several hours after posting this PROBLEM, we discovered that activating the “highlight” module made the ja-slideshow position function properly. There appears to be a restriction in that to use the ja-slideshow module in the ja-slideshow position use must place the highlight module to the right of it.

I’m having the same problem! Any help would be appreciated.

Try activating the highlight module, as in the JA-Opal demo…. When both the highlight and the slideshow are enabled the ja-slideshow appears to work. I have to assume there is something in the CSS positioning that requires both modules be active.

    Hi Russell,
Are you having trouble with the Search box and Search image. I can’t make it work in IE.

    Would appreciate any help.
