I installed Portfolio from Quickstart. I updated all modules and cleared cache, but I don’t see the Previous and Next arrows on left side like in Demo. I also don’t seem to have the same options that I see in the manual here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-portfolio-userguide-old/

I checked my JA Extension Manager. It reports I’m up to date for for JA Slideshow 2 – using 2.2.0.

I have Module set to Manual navigation.

Please help.

Please kindly check for me the Show Buttons Parameter, did you select the Yes option or not?

As I said above, I don’t have that option. Not sure why not. Here is a screen shot.

you can resolve your problems as following:
– Open module ja_slideshow2 backend config page, and set the config as per the screenshot below :

By mr_black123 at 2010-12-02
– Save your config
