January 26, 2010 at 2:53 pm #330463And what about the thumbnails?
I have installed the updated version of Kyanite template and this module, and this is all i can see in the description:
# Support many Animations in the sildeshow playing
# Allow display image and thumbnail via two options:
a) from the image inside the article’s content
b) use a custom tag with syntax:
<!– {jaimage main=”yyy.jpg” thumb=”xxx.jpg”} –>How can i display the thumbnails inside the slideshow? Does this mean I can simply put these tags at the beginning of the article and it will automatically create the thumb?
And what if i want to link the slide to some content other than article (in my case, i need to link it to the morfeoshow gallery)?
Thank You very much 😉hanson2545 Friendhanson2545

Please re-check as the description seems to show fine in community plus template as seen on demo template also at slideshow position:::

January 17, 2011 at 9:26 am #372206I have an other problem with the module. the navigation
buttons are not the ones I see in the template.
Instead of having left and right arrows, I have:
« Previous ‹ PLAYBACK STOP PLAY › Next »Any ideas on how to fix that?

Please ensure that you have selected Control buttons to yes in module parameters
Other way, Can you provide a link to your site to take closer look

Try add this at end of template.css file::
.ja-slide-buttons .ja-slide-prev, .ja-slide-buttons .ja-slide-next { background: url(“../images/btncontrol.png”) no-repeat;display: block;height: 43px;margin: 0;padding: 0; text-indent: -999em; width: 35px;}
.ja-slide-buttons .ja-slide-prev{background-position:0 0;}
.ja-slide-buttons .ja-slide-next{background-position:100% 0;float:right;}and upload the attached image to image folder of specific template named btncontrol.png

Thanks for the reply. Hoever still buttons ‹ PLAYBACK STOP PLAY › are displayed, both left and right buttons use the left button and they appear under the thubs bar, not left and right of it.
Any ideas?aman204 Friendaman204

January 21, 2011 at 9:57 am #372998Hi 7o9f,
<blockquote>Hoever still buttons ‹ PLAYBACK STOP PLAY › are displayed,</blockquote>
The above suggestion was to replace previous and next button which seems to have done the trick. Do you wish to remove the other buttons ?<blockquote>both left and right buttons use the left button</blockquote>
For right button to display in right image, Please ensure to have added this::
.ja-slide-buttons .ja-slide-next{background-position:100% 0;float:right;}
<blockquote>
they appear under the thubs bar, not left and right of it.</blockquote>Change this::
.ja-slide-buttons {style.css (line 134)
z-index: 900;
}to
.ja-slide-buttons {style.css (line 134)
bottom: 0;
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
z-index: 900;

January 22, 2011 at 3:05 am #373106Hi @7of9,
You can remove the buttons as following:
– Open “default.php” file in folder “modules/mod_jaslideshow2/tmpl”, delete lines code:
<span class="ja-slide-playback">‹ <?php echo JText::_('PLAYBACK');?></span>
<span class="ja-slide-stop"><?php echo JText::_('STOP');?></span>
<span class="ja-slide-play"><?php echo JText::_('PLAY');?> ›</span>
– Open “default_articles.php” in the same folder, delete lines code:
<span class="ja-slide-playback">‹ <?php echo JText::_('PLAYBACK');?></span>
<span class="ja-slide-stop"><?php echo JText::_('STOP');?></span>
<span class="ja-slide-play"><?php echo JText::_('PLAY');?> ›</span>
Note: if your site template is overriding your slideshow2 module template, then please to do same with files in folder “templates/your default template/html/mod_jaslideshow2/”AuthorPostsThis topic contains 58 replies, has 16 voices, and was last updated by 7of9 13 years, 9 months ago.
