    hello to everyone.:)

I built a site on a web hosting in my own country. here is the url:

    http://2115jyh9.vhu11.pumo.com.tw/

but now I have encountered a problem. as you can see the JA Slideshow 2 module works well in some images but some do not. There are the last three images can’t be showed.

In the first I built the site on my localhost computer and then I use Akeeba Backup component to backup my site data. Later I uploaded data to the web hosting and installed.

In my localhost computer there is no problem in JA Slideshow 2 module but when uploaded to web hosting the problem occured…

I guess the problem is in the folders’ limits of authority but I can’t sure and I don’t know where to alter them.

So if everyone who knows where the problem is. please tell me. thank you.

    I had similar problems.

I solved this problems by configuring the module with “from articles” and “From categories”. Next in all slideshow articles I inserted the following code:

    <!– {jaimage main=”images/stories/slideshow/aerodromo.jpg” thumb=”images/stories/slideshow/aerodromo.jpg”} –>
    <p>{jathumbnail}<img alt=”aerodromo” src=”images/stories/slideshow/aerodromo.jpg” width=”660″ height=”300″ /></p>

    Good work,

I need help. Why not show the images of slideshow2 on my page? Do I need to change the permissions to the image or necessarily JAThumbnail I use the plugin? I tried putting the label “jathumbnail and jaimage” did not work. What I want is to display images with a thumbnail in the side navigation.

How do you make an image that you are using for the slideshow, clickable so it will take you to an article you have created??

Update: I found that using the from the user guide allows you to set up the image so that it’s clickable. This only works, though, in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. In versions of IE, the image does not link.

    I found this article:
    http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?10250-DIV-over-image-z-index-click-issue

The description seems to be the same problem. When I mouse “around” the image in whitespace… I see the hand url and the click works. When I mouseover the image itself, the cursor turns back into a pointer and the option to click disappears.

    Another article addresses this here:
    http://www.ngenworks.com/blog/detail/ie_z_index_and_making_a_div_a_link/

So, it looks like anywhere there is content below the masking DIV that the content shows through. Hopefully, that will help you with more feedback to resolve the issue. I know this is the case in IE7… I’m not worried about the issue in IE6. From our site stats, IE7 is still used significantly enough to make this a requirement to have working.

    Hoping for an answer soon.

    Thanks!

At the moment I want to show the images in the slideshow, I do not make them “clickable.” Just want to display. I can not do it from the article or from the folder, you can see in screenshots. Any suggestions? It is necessary plug-in JA-Thumbnail? Thanks for the help. These are the screenshots:

I want slideshow2 images are displayed as in the template demo. I want to know what I have to change for the slideshow2 work. The images are not shown. I used IE8, Firefox, Opera and Chrome and the images are not displayed. I want to know if I have to modify code, what is the name of the file and what lines exactly. I want the images are displayed and the link is in the introductory text in the template and demo. Thank you very much.

In the domain changed the permissions on the folder of images, my question is if I do so in each image and also to all subfolders before the folder that has the pictures?
