Hello, i have a problem with this module, it worked fine before but now i dont know what is going on, when in backend trying to edit the module i cannot save, only button i can do something with is the close button.

I found your issue

This ajax expected execute save function.
But by somehow it had trouble by re-direct to installation page ???? !!!
I’ll inform this trouble dev team for depth checking

Hello, i have disabled the redirect plugin because i had login issues as well, it worked fine for a moment but now its bak to no login, anyway, i have changed the template to Telline IV, and the issue is the same with the JA news featured Module…

I think you have some thing like redirect made this trouble ???

PS the installation folder is managed by jms multisite and should have no effects on ajax, particularly when module worked fine before.

Hello!
I still have the same problem. JA News Front Page & JA News Pro module on Ja Teline IV, Save and Apply buttons don’t work.
Using Joomla 1.7.2.
All permissions in the modules are set to 755. (Not a permissions problem – have tested it with 777)
Must be ajax – javascript problem.
VERY IMPORTANT
Can You help me?

Hi!

I – for me – have solved the problem by disabeling plugin “ZT share” …. now everything with the save and aply functions is ok.
Try to disable all (not life essential) plugins … and take a look!
