March 8, 2012 at 3:31 pm #174761Hi,
When using kranos profile and skin, the Title always changes to uppercase. For example I would like to have the word “Basket” and it is always transformed to “BASKET”. Is there a way to change it? I tried messing aroung with style.css of kranos profile but no luck…
Thanks,

March 8, 2012 at 4:11 pm #442608I think that the file you need is going to be at modules/mod_jaslideshow/assets/themes/yourtheme/style.css Make sure you take a copy of it before changing the file
In there a couple of “text-transform: uppercase;” – you can change that to how you want or *text-transform: none;”
All templates come with lots of themes so it’s a bit pot-luck here to be honest IF my theme of Kranos is the same as yours even if my template isn’t. lines 125, 144 and 279
Try them, I think the one @ 279 is probably the one you need to change but again make sure you copy the file first so that you can always restore if it goes horribly wrong! 😉
Bestens

March 9, 2012 at 10:11 pm #442850I changed it to “text-transform: none” and it worked ok.
But in order to avoid future conflicts with upgades of the module I did the following
1.cloned from within the module the profile I want to use as a base. This creates a .ini file with te name you define, for example “newprofile.ini” (located at /modules/mod_jaslideshow/profiles
2.copied from ” /modules/mod_jaslideshow/assets/themes/ ” one of the themes I want to use with some changes ,for example “kranos” and named it as “newprofile”
3.changed “style.css” located in the “newprofile” as I wanted (in my case repalced “uppercase” with “none”
4.changed within newprofile.ini the “skin ” value with the name of the profile, that is “newprofile”
5.Selected the new profile and skin from the module.
Done! 🙂
don’t know if this is a good thing to do but it did not cause any problem…!!
Hope this helps sb else!Thanks,

March 9, 2012 at 10:26 pm #442851Well done!
Sensible way to do it & thanks for posting it for others to follow.
(I hope that updates don’t overwrite the themes folder – I don’t think so; they don’t for other areas so fingers crossed.) 😉
