Has anyone attempted to use the JA Slideshow module on this template? I have a site that the JA slideshow module works on properly (using the Erio template), but when I make the Puresite template active (and set the module position to “slider”) all I get is a blank white background. No images…nothing.
Any suggestions?

April 8, 2012 at 3:27 pm #447756You try edit layout default, add the code
<block name="slideshow" type="modules">slideshow</block>
after
<block name="slider" type="modules" main-inner="1">slider</block>
And set position of your slideshow is slideshowApril 9, 2012 at 3:26 pm #447879I’ve tried this….still no joy.
The title (JA Slideshow) displays but no images. The same results I had with using the module position “slider”. Is there something unique about this template that would keep this module from working properly?

May 7, 2012 at 2:25 pm #451859Daniel…I cannot locate the exact css where your solution should be put. I do not see this: <block name=”slider” type=”modules” main-inner=”1″>slider</block>
so I cannot put this: <block name=”slideshow” type=”modules” style=”raw”>slideshow</block>:-[
All help much appreciated….

It’s not css, it’s the layout for the template in Admin / Template Manager / Puresite / Click on the tab ‘Layouts’ and then you can edit the file. 🙂

I am currently using the slideshow in our site. We use it in the slideshow position without any changes to the default css. Maybe make sure your folder is set right in the backend settings for the images? If the “/” is missing or present and not supposed to be you will have this issue also. show not have a “/” before or after you folder structure (images/slideshow/homepage)…

Swissa is correct. “Admin / Template Manager / Puresite / Click on the tab ‘Layouts”
What the edit essentially does is adds the slideshow position to the puresite template.Good luck!

This seems to work, but inside the new “slideshow” position I see the pictures don’t resize anymore.
