June 20, 2012 at 2:44 am #178331Hello,
I’ve got a problem with JA Slideshow and a component arrange2drive using Jquery 1.6.2 on that link : http://lemaneo.com/index.php?option=com_arrange2drive&view=advertisements&Itemid=999
I installed last JA Slideshow version 2.5.4 but it seems ther’s a jquery conflict between JA Slideshow module and the component.
I’ve got that error : this.el.getParent is not a function Line 25 on mod_toppanel/assets/script.js
So I disable Toppanel to see if it could be the problem but then I’ve got thet error : $(“ja-mainnav”).getElement is not a function
Line 127 on arrange2drive component
I tried JB library to avoid Jquery conflict but same problem. I’m using joomla 2.5 and last ja-SOCIAL template version. So I can avoid that conflict in JA Slideshow or Arrange2drive ?
thanks

June 25, 2012 at 4:27 am #458669Hi lebellegardien,
I opened the file of templates/ja_social/blocks/head.php and added this little js code
<script type=”text/javascript”>
if(jQuery){
jQuery.noConflict();
}
</script>It seems to help now as the slideshow is showing, please check it again yourself 🙂
