    Hello,

    I reviewed similar posts but nothing answered my problem. Neither the text description or the main image links to the article. I have chosen to source from articles but I’m not sure what the point is if I can’t link to that article from either the photograph or the text description with the horizontal navigation.

    Please help.

    Thank you,

    Allan

    Update:

    I was able to find the solution to linking the images to the corresponding article by following a previous post by Tien. Thanks Tien. Here is the link in case anyone else wants to link the slide show images to the articles:

    Now that I think of it, linking the corresponding text in the horizontal navigation doesn’t make sense since it would go directly to the article and not move the slideshow. I’m happy with linking the images. However I would like to know how to make the “Read More” text more aesthetically appealing. The background behind the text doesn’t look good in my opinion and I tried messing w/ opacity but to no avail.

    Thank you.

    as demo, the read more have the button background. you open the file: /templates/ja_social/css/mod_jaslideshow2.css and find the following code:

    .ja-slide-desc a.readon,
    .ja-slide-desc a.readmore {
    background: url(../images/more.png) no-repeat center center;
    padding: 0px;
    line-height: 34px;
    color: #fff;
    display: block;
    text-align: center;
    width: 140px;
    height: 34px;
    bottom: 4px;
    }

    you will change your styles in here
