March 21, 2011 at 11:10 am #161725Hi,
I use Pyro and Joomla 1.6
In previous versions of JA Slidshow (for joomla 1.5) there were an option to filter artciles by keywords. Is this feature made redundant for joomla 16 as i can’t find it in the modules settings? Thanks,

March 23, 2011 at 6:35 pm #382929Hi bohemiadesign,
Yes you’re right. JA Pyro for joomla 1.6 uses JA Slideshow 2, it’s the old version. So please go to the download page and download JA SlideShow 3 then you have the option to filter articles by keywords.bohemiadesign Friendbohemiadesign

When I have a look in the download section – the latest version I can find is 1.0.6 for me who is a JATC member. Have I missed something? Thanks,

J</blockquote>The template always has the tested version of the extensions it uses. Any new version tested with the template will be released with the template.
So, if the template download seems to have older version, then it means that the latest version is not tested / recommended for this template. You can use JA Slideshow ver 1.0.5 built in JA Pyro http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downl…o=file&id=2249,

April 4, 2011 at 11:01 am #384775OK Thanks,
Another quick question re garind the slidshow.
In joomla Global Configuration I have set it to use NO Editor. When adding the below code into an article (as you could do in joomla 1.5 templates with JA_Slidshow) to display a different image – the code is stripped out when saving the article. Is this function no longer available.
<!– {jaimage main=”images/stories/HomepageImages/MiningMinerals3.jpg” thumb=”images/stories/HomepageImages/MiningMinerals3_sm.jpg”} –>Thanks

April 9, 2011 at 7:07 am #385487Hi!
Using JA SlideShow in Joomla 1.6 you should create new modules, add to specific positions and pages. This code
<!-- {jaimage main="images/stories/HomepageImages/MiningMinerals3.jpg" thumb="images/stories/HomepageImages/MiningMinerals3_sm.jpg"} -->
Won’t work for this module.

April 23, 2011 at 11:32 pm #387800Hi,
I figured it iut you ned to use <img alt=”proj1″ class=”jaslideshow-main” height=”300″ src=”images/Projects/Commercial/proj1.png” style=”display: none” width=”500″ /> ie style=”display: none” would work.
Cheers,
J -
