Hi

I would like to translate the texts on the images of my homepage slideshow on http://www.imove-fit.ch from french to english

I tried first useing Joomfish -> Translation -> Modules -> JA Sldeshow, but when I want to save, it is not working….

I thought I could also duplicate the module and select Language: english, isTranslation: yes, but when I save, i have this error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function checkIn() on a non-object in /home/www/bd0a27b0b7e8924c857f0b2340320b46/web/plugins/system/jfdatabase/jfdatabase.php on line 345

Can you help?

If you duplicate the slideshow module you also need to clone the profile so that you have one for French and one for English. Try that and see if it helps.

I did and the other error message disappeared. But when i click on isTranslation: yes, and I want to select “Translation of”, it says:

No valid database connection: Fonction DB échouée avec le numéro d’erreur 1146

I just realised both of them appear now on my homepage… french and english…

I tried to check the problem on your site, i saw you are using Joomfish component and duplicate module.

+ I’m not sure Joomfish work with Joomla 2.5 but there are duplicate modules, i tried to delete one but could not, can you delete it?

+ Other way is to duplicate JA Slideshow Module and show it for each language, our customer are using this way.

Maybe this is bug from JOOMFISH Component, you can contact them here. You might get better answers there.
