I need to use Slideshow II instead of Slideshow Lite as it works directly with articles, which is relevant in my website.

However, when trying to configure Slideshow, every time I click on the picture, the article opens at the same page (home page), not at a dedicated page for that article. This is a complete mess!

How can this problem be solved, please?

You need to check category / articles are selected in JA Slideshow Module.

In Joomla, if you want to view article individually, that article must be assigned to a menu item. Pls create a new menu item (or use an existing one) and assign article (or category that article belongs to) to this new menu item and also make sure that you don’t assign any module to this menu item.
