Hello, I’ve having issues with the slideshow.
I’m using the slideshow with the JA Travel profile, in position User1 and displaying K2 content. I’ve got two issues with it, the first one is the size of the image that it’s displaying, right now it’s showing a small image on the left and the rest of the slideshow is blank. How do I get the image to fill the width of the slideshow? I don’t care if it’s cropped on the top and bottom.
Second, part of my menu dropdown goes behind the Slideshow mask at the bottom. I’ve checked every z-index I can find but no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks

Seen thanks
1) Slideshow images size
<blockquote>I’m using the slideshow with the JA Travel profile, in position User1 and displaying K2 content. As you can read HERE
and here
You are using different format size for your k2 items images
2) z-index
<blockquote>Second, part of my menu dropdown goes behind the Slideshow mask at the bottom. I’ve checked every z-index I can find but no luck. Any ideas?</blockquote>
Goto this file /modules/mod_jaslideshow/assets/themes/travel/style.css around line 57
.maskDesc {
background: url("bg-desc.png") repeat scroll left bottom transparent !important;
z-index: 100; <------- Simply remove this part of code
}
May 17, 2013 at 8:03 pm #493183Thanks Pavit,
The Z-index worked perfectly, however I’m still having problems with the image size. I re-uploaded one of the images at 964×354, and I’m still getting the small version

May 17, 2013 at 8:19 pm #493184Use Ja_Extension Manager to update all plugins modules and template to the latest version released
you are making changes on old versions of files since you have old versions for all
First to make updates take a backup of your website.
May 27, 2013 at 2:39 pm #494095Hi Pavit,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, busy week at work. I used the JA Extension manager to update everything I could, however upgrading past 2.6.1 on the T3 Framework breaks my site completely, and going past 2.5.7 on JA Slideshow breaks my site when that module is published.

May 28, 2013 at 7:47 am #494153I could not access admin of your site. When doing that, it always automatically redirects to homepage.
But as I can see from front-end site, your site is using JA Slideshow module + Source K2
You need to configure to get Image in K2 item
Go to Admin -> Components -> K2 -> Parameters button -> Images tabs -> Item generic image width (in px). Used in user pages as well as tag, search & date listings set 964 and re-upload image file in K2 items
This way will help you get images in K2 with width of : 964
