December 25, 2010 at 7:59 pm #157870I decided to stay away from JA Slideshow module. And now based on my experience with JA Content Slider and JA Tabs, I’ll stay away from those modules as well. I’m using JA Community Plus and I enjoy JA Templates. But when it comes to modules, well… it is not reliable. Not even close. I always choose modules which is not developed by JA for my

January 4, 2011 at 10:30 pm #370085Hello,
Content slider module stopped showing images. At first images are showing and I switched the “show image” option to hide and images disappeared but when I turned it back to show, the images would not show up. I emptied cache still did not work. Need Help. Thanks.

January 5, 2011 at 2:06 pm #370264JA Slideshow II;
It is very hard to customize the module. I even tried to hack the code to fit to my needs, no luck. Please take a look around the forum and see for yourself how much trouble it causes if you skew from standard template parameters.
JA Tabs/JA Content slider;
If you enable AJAX nothing shows-up. I used this along with JomSocial. There might be some JS clash but I used free extenstions from Joomla site, they worked fine.Just downloaded JA Comment and applied to my test site. If article’s text height is shorter then article’s image, comment content overlaps article image. This is just another example how sloppy your module developers are.
Most of the modules are buggy when they are released. I’m very concerned about your Q/A process. Are you guys really testing your stuff before releasing. Or you guys just release code ASAP and rely on users to submit bugs.
Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy using your templates but my experience is very bad when it comes to quality of your code. Don’t release unless u r absolutely sure that it works. If it works 50-50, it demolishes users’ confidence over your products.
