I am using the JA_Slideshow module with the JA_Social template. I have gotten the slideshow to work correctly when pulling from articles but I really would like to pull from an image folder. Is it possible to have a similar experience using the image folder where text can be shown down in the “thumbnail” section and then have text appear on the image when it appears.

Hi namepeoples,

Try this :

In administrator >> Extensions >> Module Manager >> JA Slideshow module >> Then configure as my attached screenshot.

Furthermore, you need to assign menu for this module (i.e Home, Blog …) & be sure that image folder contains relevant images.

** You don’t need to create new JA Slideshow module, just configure current module.

Thanks for the help Leo,

I have this working somewhat, but nothing will display on my images as they rotate. I have attached a screenshot of the set-up page.
