    Hi all,

I would like to use JA Slideshow Lite, but I am stack with one problem!
I can’t get the full pictures on my screen… for all pictures something isn’t right. Somethimes missing the bottom of picture, sometimes bottom and right side…
In module setup all parameters are like is in tutorial.
I’ve tried to reinstall module and problem is same. Is it necesary that all pictures in folder are same dimensions or it can be in different aspect ratio?
Is it possible that some pictures are smaller and that slideshow doesn’t change their size… just put them in the middle? :((

    Hello funci,

JA Slideshow Lite resize pictures in width automatically. So sometimes some pix will be missed the bottom.

    Best regards.

While JA Slideshow Lite seems indeed to be responsive – filling small screens nicely – I am having no luck getting the same images to display in their entirety on a desktop screen. The script insists on enlarging each image to fill the entire width of the display thus cutting off the bottom. I can see the entire image by narrowing the browser window but that’s not acceptable.

I considered creating two slideshows – one for phones and tablets, and one with matted images for desktops – but finding another slideshow seems easier.

Am I missing something? Is there a fix that stops resizing so images display at their native size on desktops?

    Hi bluetrain,

JA Slideshow Lite module in JA Lens template supports responsive layout so you don’t need to make both slideshow: phone and tablet.

The problem of your site, you can send me URL of your site. I shall check it for you.

Ye, that’s true and is uber annoying!

If you use the sizes shown on demo quickstart images (1063px high) it cuts of 300px from the bottom on monitors 15’+!!!!!!! if you make browser window smaller it resizes and you can see the full image !

So apparently there are only 2 solutins possible: in the slideshow.css change width from 720px to 1063 or whatever ( BUT you will get a full screen slideshow)

or use images which are 720px high
    OR just don’t bother

    Any othr suggestions?

btw here is my link http://www.ambriconcierge.com/Slideshow.html hope youll see what I mean before I decide what action to take

    Cheers,

This slideshow module on your site isn’t from our JA Extensions. You can download our module via this link: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20441 with “JA Slideshow Lite Module for J25 & J31 (125.2 KB)

And use user guide here to know how to config the module: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/joomla-2-5-userguide-ja-lens-template/#post-452566
