February 11, 2013 at 4:47 pm #184867Hello,
I am using JA slideshow lite on User9 position (black background on page bottom) and I would like to slide some transparent PNGs but… images are shown with a white background. Any way to keep the transparency?
Thanks

February 11, 2013 at 6:57 pm #483095sure it’s http://www.spaziogiovani.it/cms down at bottom, under the title “Le nostre reti”. Images are transparent PNGs in tones of white / grey but… a white background appears under each one.

February 11, 2013 at 7:11 pm #483097Hi
I think you need to change the png format to make it completely transparent ( you are using gif images ) if you use Photoshop try to save the image as png-24 interlaced
This is not a module issue but a wrong image setting

February 13, 2013 at 5:27 pm #483317I am afraid this is not the problem: I uploaded the images in png-24 interlaced format, and the slideshow still adds a white background. I also deleted all the RESIZED folder images, but no help. I added a couple of the same images in the credits line below too, and they are shown correctly in the article…
Any other hint? Sure it isn’t something in the module?

February 14, 2013 at 7:41 am #483390Hi Spaziogiovani,
Open file modules/mod_jaslideshowlite/assets/mod_jaslideshowlite.css and find
.ja-ss-item img {
background: #fff
width: 100%;
max-width: 100%;
}
You need remove background: #fff to resolve your issue.Regards
