Hi,

I’ve recently upgraded to JA Slideshow lite v1.2.1 for JA Mero, and the method of adding a description to the image has changed to using the edit menu for each image. Whilst this is fine, it has stripped any target=”_blanks” and I can’t get them back in. I would prefer to have them launch in a modal window using a .modal class, however I can’t get this to work either. Does anyone know how to do this?

As a second issue I have been unable to get the navigation icons to appear in anything other than the custom class, and I have created a custom css to make this work with a slide animation, however clicking the navigation buttons has a delay before it moves the image, unlike if you used the slide animation direct from the module and clicked the thumbnails. any ideas?

For the second issue, within this JA Mero template, we style for thumbnail so that each thumbnail will have bullet image set as background. Could you post your site’s URL here and detail of how you want to achieve so that I can check?

Hi,

For the first issue, yes within that edit button popup I’d like to be able to specify target blank or link class modal. What I meant by the change from the upgrade, is previously we put everything between tags, including link targets.

For the second, the temp url is http://dev.bonkersfashions.co.uk/occassionwear. The appearance is as required, there is just a seconds delay when clicking the next/previous button or selecting one of the bullets that doesn’t exist when using the ‘slide’ option in the module, shown below.

>> Please check out user guide of this JA Slideshow Lite module again: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-module/ja-slideshow-lite#custom, then you will know that it’s not delay time, its time to load other elements then it will load main image. It’s default behavior of this custom type.

How do you change the height and width of the slide description window? I would like to extend the description so I can fit quite a bit more text in.

I can’t seem to find it in settings, or with firebug.

@zdmdesignz: You can post your site’s URL here and also turn off Optimize CSS in template manager. I will check and give you further suggestion.
