I have installed Tiris quick start.
In folder images/stories/demo/slideshow I downloaded images with same name as sl-1.jpg
But the module doesn’t display the images.
How to use correctly this module?

I have the same problem. I tried with a new directory, new image name… but dont show the images, only the text.
I was looking to Tiris guide and I didnt find any solution ¿?

Please show me your website so i can see about the images unless you are saying about the image placeholders since the images that are shown in our demo are not included.

Hello,
find enclosed two images of the web, how you can see in the front page the image is missed, but in the section page that uses the other slideshow you can see the image sample. I uploaded new images, I tried with sampleimages… but dont works ¿?

Please delete the /images/resized folder or provide me with a super admin and ftp access so i can try and solve this for you.

I deleted the images/resized folder and don’t works. I installed the template in other domain, same problem. The images are there but I dont understand why aren’t showed. I read in several forums about people that have the same problem, but it seems that nobody have a solution…

YES!!, I found the solution, I delete all the images in “images/stories/demo/slideshow” and “images/resized/images/stories/demo/slideshow” and I give permissions to the folders.

Hello,
I have a problem with JA Tris template… I would like to place images of the articles on the slideshow, that when it changes the article it changes also the background image (picture linked to the article). Moreover when I click “read more” or the title I cannot see the entire text…

An other problem is to activate the module with the three box on bottom…

Can you help me?

As a fellow Tiris user maybe I can help!

Firstly, the three boxes are JA Sidenews.

With respect to the slideshow – could you explain a little more please? Do you want slideshow to appear on all pages then? I ask because there is also the masshead module that you can configure I believe to do what you want – although I am no expert on it.

Oh, if you can post a link to the site it always helps!

Hi Andrea, to activate JA Sidenews remeber to change permissions in the /httpdocs/images/stories/demo folder and /httpdocs/images/resized/images/stories/demo in other case it don’t works.

About the other question, I think is beter to use the images from folder (in my case) or use the Masshead module and select the items where do you want to show the images.

Tell me more about it to find the good solution… if I can…

It is automatically linked to articles in categories – either featured or not, so it takes the image from the article.

You put your image first in the article then the text. If you try the demo you will see what I mean… http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#joomla17-templates.joomlart.com/ja_tiris
