The JA Slideshow module does not show up on my site. I installed K2 and the problems seems to be the K2 system plugin. When I disable it the slideshow will work. What can I do so I can use K2 and the module still shows up?

It’s a bug. There is a conflict between System – K2 plugin and slideshow module. I reported to dev team to solve it. Wait for us, please.

Answer for you:
Go to the k2 component setting, click on the Parameters setting at the top right, there select the jQuery library handling field to Load v1.6.3( local copy ) and it helped
