April 28, 2014 at 2:48 pm #197160Hi,
I am using JA Slideshow to display images from an image folder. The images are both portrait and landscape images. I have set the sizing for the images within the module. This works fine (from what I can see) on the landscape images, however the portrait images are of course using the same sizing which means they become stretched and out of proportion….
What is the solution to this? We have used a much older version of JA Slideshow on another older site and never had this issue, I have replicated virtually all of the same settings from, however haven’t had any success…
Please advise as soon as possible.

April 29, 2014 at 8:28 am #532838If it helps…
This is what we want to achieve, which is on an older version of JA Slideshow and older J framework: http://awesomescreenshot.com/02b2q6dn19
This is what we currently have, on a newer version of JA Slideshow and newer J framework:
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0ec2q6dlf1How can we get portrait images to display correctly?
Please advise.Thanks

April 29, 2014 at 10:47 am #532867This is a bug from T3 framework. Do you have custom css files? I need to upgrade to the latest T3 version and compile LESS to CSS from JA Biz template.
Since this action will override old css files, you need to backup all files which were customised. Then let me know, if you wish to go ahead with this upgrade.

Apologies for this late response because I need time to upgrade and check the problem on your site.
I just finished to upgrade T3framework v2.1.5 on your site and compile LESS to CSS files.
Please check it on your site again. Let me know if it helps

May 6, 2014 at 9:22 am #533778Hi Ninja,
Thank you for completing the update process.
Unfortunately it still hasn’t resolved the issue here. We’re still having trouble displaying portrait images without stretching them to fit the dimensions specified in the JA Slideshow Module.
Surely there must be a way around this??
Please advise

Have you figured it out at your end? I see your site is working fine now.
