For me I fixed for my server setup using image folders for slideshow by setting folder permisions on each directory and sub directory. It would not work on setting permisions on sub directory alone. Also applying changes had to be logged in ftp layer to save. Also used no cache. Hope it helps.

I know it´s year 2013, but it could help to other people. 🙂 Me, if I cant see something first i try to install plugin plg_jqueryeasy. Many problems I solved with this plugin. Now, again – it was because of it. My slideshow is going. Bye, bye – I hope I help somebody. 🙂 Linda 🙂
