I have a strange problem with the slideshow module of ja-pyrite:
the first image is shown correctly, the following images slide to the right side – halft of the first picture ist still there and the second one is shown over the first but moved right.
all pictures are 800 px width.
this seems to be only an internet explorer issue.
anybody has an idea what settings i can fix?
i downloaded the latest version of ja-pyrite, just a week ago.

    see: http://www.zukunftskinder.at

    please help!

now i’ve found out that IE7 has this “overlapping” problem
IE8 has another problem: here the slideshow is moved to the left side

all other browsers show how it should look like 🙂

thank you in advance, i really need to fix that, and i have no clue

I have installed the IE8 fix that switches the system automatically to use IE8 in compatibility mode.

When I use this switch I have the same issue as you do, the first image displays ok, the second displays to the right (mine are also 800 wide) leaving the first in place, and the rest follow this pattern.

If I turn of the compatibility plugin so the browser defaults to IE8 (which I am using) it shows the very same issue.

I have tried what I can think of but cant get it resolved.

Can see it here (banner under main top menu) rotates every 6 seconds
