Hi,
I use JA Nickel and have configured the JA Slideshow in it. I face the following problems though:
1. In IE-8, (have not yet tested in previous versions till now), the slideshow does not load at all. The page loading does not end at all – progress of page loading is eternal in status bar.
2. In firefox 3, the slideshow loads, but if I enable “Show Controls” to No in slideshow settings, then the slideshow does not load.
Can you please help me.
Thanks

July 19, 2009 at 1:52 pm #311525I can see a few problems but can’t see a cause of any of them….
In your source code you have… <div class=”ja-slidewrap” id=”ja-slide-52″ style=”visibility:hidden“>, that ‘hidden’ should be ‘visable’. Have you altered the slideshow files in any way??
Also there seems to be some script in the highlighted module that’s not doing anything…

</div>This script could be causing a conflict with the slideshow script. Try unpublishing that module and see if the slideshow works.
July 19, 2009 at 2:09 pm #311528Thanks… your replies got it working partially..

No the initial value in the file was itself set to hidden. i did not change it. But now after you suggested, i changed it and it appears in IE. Thanks a lot<blockquote>Also there seems to be some script in the highlighted module that’s not doing anything…</blockquote>
Thanks… i just noticed it and i have removed it.But i still have an issue….
With controls off and auto play on, the slideshow does not work. i can only see the first image. Can you please help me further. I see a javascript error:this.el.getElement(“.ja-slide-thumbs-wrap”) is null
