I would like to request 2 things for you to possibly consider if others think its a worthy change.

When you hover over the slideshow and click on “View Larger”, I would like some “lightbox” overlay functionality that happens at that point…JA Slideshow is a great way of displaying portfolio work at a smaller size but it doesn’t give the detail that the lightbox overlay would showcase. (like being able to read text in an ad).

Not sure how much programming time it would add for your team, but it would even be cool if I could add the lightbox tags for each image URL in the slideshow parameters which could “bridge” another plugin in the site.

Other thing, it would be nice for all images in JA Slideshow to “center” vertically in the window that you set (they currently only center align horizontally) instead of hanging at the top…I have been able to get around it by setting my “landscape style” images as the same height as everything else (building the “white” into the top and bottom of the image basically)

This is a heavy customization , you should post this requirement into the joomlancers.com site to found a developer complete it

Hello,

I would also like to open the slideshow links in a lightbox. I’m using the slideshow to show folder images my links are pointing to an other image.
Has somebody got this working ?

I’m using JA Slideshow module for Joomla! 2.5 with Ja Orisite template.

There’s an option to open with target blank in slideshow administration, but not lightbox. This would be just great !
