JA Slideshow 2.7.4 is installed on a Joomla 3.5.1 installation. There is no K2 module or plugin installed. But for some reason on the backend the opening of the module results in:

An error occured.
1146 Table ‘00000database.#__k2_categories’ doesn’t exist SQL=SELECT m.* FROM #__k2_categories m WHERE trash = 0 AND m.published = ‘1’ ORDER BY parent, ordering

The first 2 times I restored a database backup and the problem was resolved. But now so many things have been changed a database restore to the time stamp where the problem wasn’t occurring isn’t an option. Problem is I don’t know what in the database is causing this. I have a test environment and there the plugin works. The same database tables are there, even the module configuration is the same. This means it has to be something in 1 of the other tables which causes this error. Anybody an idea?
