I want to show 1 fixed description in JA Slideshow. In the configuration, I set:

Show Description when: Always.
This is not working. If I chose “Always”, the description will not show up.

My objective is:
It must be able to display 1 fixed description while the image is animating.

How to resolve this?

I am having this same problem. I changed the parameter to “image animated” (just to see what that did) and the behaviour is what I would expect to be “always” that is the description is always there.

If you changed to Image Animated, the description will be animated too. What I want to do is:

– Image animated
– Description stays the same (not animated)

Perhaps I wasn’t clear. When I set the parameter to “always” the description does not show up. With the parameter set to “animated” both the image and description show and they are both static. As I would expect from “always’ . There is no animation.
