Hello,
I don’t want ja-slideshow to strip html tags from my intro text descriptions. I have disabled “show article title” and am using my own content headings, thus need them to remain in heading format, not paragraph format. What do I need to adjust in the helper.php file to do so?
Thank you

August 9, 2011 at 6:34 pm #405209Hi amddesign,
Could it be Joomla that is stripping the HTML?
Did you go into JCE and change the group manager parameters to allow html?
Also in configuration in JCE to turn off html cleanup?
Using iFrames?? ~ Go in Components/JCE Administration/Configuration there is an iframe which is set to no – if you want to use iframes then set it to yes.
Let me know if this solves your issue or if we need to investigate further.August 10, 2011 at 5:42 am #405306<em>@Blaine 258464 wrote:</em><blockquote>Hi amddesign,

I did check my JCE settings as well as the parameters in the article manager, and they are all configured correctly. My content is rendering correctly on all other pages in the site, it’s only in the ja-slideshow that the <h2> tags are removed.
Thanks,

August 10, 2011 at 12:06 pm #405391Hi Anne,
Could you please tell me what version of the slideshow you are using and any other components from JA you are using?
And what version of Joomla and the template version as well.
ThanksAugust 11, 2011 at 11:11 am #405627Hi,
I upgraded to the latest version of the module, which has an option to allow certain HTML tags. I guess I got an older version of the module with the template I’m using. Thank you for your help!

August 11, 2011 at 12:24 pm #405647Hi amddesign,
I am so happy your issue is resolved!!
It’s always best to use the latest version of the software to keep the site working smoothly as well as to avoid known exploits on the previous versions of software, thereby allowing your site to be compromised by hackers. -
