January 2, 2012 at 1:37 pm #172357Hi happy new year everyone
i love the JA Slideshows but because of performance issues i do not use as it takes way to long to load up
but on the demo templates its instant? how can we get it to load up the same speed as the demos?
i have tried everything i can think of lowering the picture quality and size and ive noticed this on every template i have used
is there any way to speed things up it should be the first thing to show up as its a big part of the template and not have to wait from 3-10 secs to load?Manos ModeratorManos

January 10, 2012 at 8:09 am #433249Hi,
In advanced mode (ja slideshow) you can enable cache and set the amount of time you want those files to be kept.
See my image to help you better. Please let me know if that solves your problem.

January 10, 2012 at 7:16 pm #433319Hi,
Cache time is the time that your files will be recreated or stay the same, the lower the number the more frequently your files will be recreated so any new file you probably have uploaded will be included on your slideshow.
