Hi Support,

In JA Slideshow ( Community Plus template), I have changed the text and saved the file. But after saving the module state, it is not showing any text.

Pls. Check and reslove.

I have seen your issue, but at my side JA Slideshow has worked correctly.It has shown text content on JA Slideshow. So let me know if your issue has solved, so that i can close my ticket.

According to this user guide, you can check your module’s parameters & backend settings of JA Slideshow II module. If you have still any problem, then let me know via PM.

Hello. I have the same problem here. Just change the text, save and … not showing the text.
I review the guide and I found the configuration. I tried to reverse the operation and still no text.

I installed the template in joomla 1.5 and with the quickstart

I can see a image and corresponding text on right, on your website right now, so can you please confirm if your slideshow problem solved? If it’s not solved, please update your site admin details at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/74122 and explain your problem again, so that I can check the issue..

Just in case anyone else has this issue. I had the same thing and was pulling my hair out.

I think what happens is that the configuration that is active does not match the configuration of the the module, when the module is text is changed and then saved the new configuration is activated and the text becomes inactive.

Carefully review the setup link amita sent and you may see that some fields are not set correctly. Especially look at “Show Description” if it is set to Description and Read More, change it to none, save, then change it back to Description and Read More and save again.
