March 2, 2012 at 3:17 am #174527I have unpublished every module in the ‘right’ position and ‘ja tabs’.
Went into the ja slideshow module and changed the ‘main item width’ to 899 and uploaded 899×300 size images, yet the images still show up at 659 width on the slideshow, the original setting.
I am trying to increase the width of the slideshow to show wider images, the full width of the website.
Did i miss a setting or do i have to go into the coding somewheres and change something?

March 2, 2012 at 5:01 am #441303Hi country212,
you just open the file of modules/mod_jaslideshow/assets/themes/anion/style.css Look for this css
.ja-slidewrap_anion {
border: 1px solid #191A1B;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
position: relative;
width: 659px;
}There you remove the width property so it should be changed to
.ja-slidewrap_anion {
border: 1px solid #191A1B;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
position: relative;}
I think that should help !

March 2, 2012 at 5:02 am #441304Is the size set to 899×300 OR 899px x 300px?
Also, are you in Development mode? And have you cleared all site and browser cache?
And are you using slideshow OR slideshow2?
Thanks!country212 Friendcountry212

March 2, 2012 at 8:41 am #441359I changed the style.css file and removed the ‘width’.
It works pretty much and is ok with me like that, but on the right side, the slideshow images don’t line up with the rest of the website. They are just a few px off
I thought the templates width was 950px I have made the images 948px, 950px, 980px, etc.. and the left side just doesn’t line up properly.
I clear the cache every time i upload a different image, it seems almost every change made, you have to clear the cache in the new joomla version. I never had to do that in joomla1.5, guess 2.5 works a bit differently.
