Hi
I have a fresh install of Joomla 1.7 and Ja Social.
Ja Slideshow has been installed and the module will not SAVE, SAVE & CLOSE, SAVE&NEW, SAVE©.
I can only CLOSE the module but obviously this does not save changes so the module does not show.
Please help urgently as I need to use the module for my work project.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thank you.

September 29, 2011 at 8:35 pm #415722Hi klout
When this issue appears, usually is due to a wrong chmod assignment at your folders ( must be set to 755 )
Please check your directory permission and your chmod on module folder
September 29, 2011 at 9:43 pm #415738Thank you Pavit,
I have all folders CHMOD to 755 and still the problem remains?
Any further help much appreciated.

April 6, 2012 at 9:11 pm #447634Save button also does not work on my site. I tried a fresh install, with a quickstart package from your site. Nothing. This needs to be solved immediately, or it renders this template useless 🙁

April 19, 2012 at 6:37 pm #449185Ok, finally figured this out. The problem was in my .htaccess file (akeeba version). I disabled it and voila, it started to work again. I haven’t yet figured out which part was the issue, but if you disable it, you should be good.
