But how can it be installed correctly?
Is there something else other than Install Modules in admin?

Well, I tried with a fresh install with quickstart included in the template pack, than installed slideshow.
It all terrible.
The top menu’s submenu is dissapearing when it’s rolled over, and the controls of the slideshow are displayed ugly.
Thumbnails are not generated and seems like slideshow css is not working, even though i check all the css and image paths.
Am I missing something?
