Hello I am ready to start my website but I want some opinions on which joomla I should use?
I like 1.6 because of the kunena template but is there any reason that 1.5 is a better option?

There is no K2 content in joomla 1.6, there is in Joomla 1.5 , I hope this is the difference

Just spent some time at looking at the options with JA Social and the extensions it relies on, and it occurred to me that it would have been really useful if the developers could do a sticky post to keep everyone abreast of progress and which extensions will currently work with which version of JA Social and what changes have been made to the template in every new version. For instance:
    – Is the switch to Kunena from Agora in v1.6 permanent or will there be an update for Agora once they are ready for 1.6/7?
    – Does the template work with Jomsocial 2 yet?
    – Will K2 support be added again once it is ready for J1.6/7?
There are difficult decisions to make here. For a stable version, it seems JA Social for J1.5 is still the best choice, but then you will need to convert from Agora to Kunena in the future. Although Joomlart is ready with JA Social for J1.6, that does not help much if the extension developers are not! And with J1.7 it appears as though no one is ready…
Some roadmap and regularly updated info would be appreciated!
