Hello everyone,

I have come to the forum after trying my best to have all the 4 concerns stated in my title; (favicon + registration form + top panel name + YOU ARE HERE) solved, but failed.

Please help me, one by one …. and I would deeply appreciate your help.

1. Favicon: can’t get the Joomla! favicon removed even after deleting all the favicons in my templates, all of them. I also cleaned the cache, but no use.

2. Registration form: I have tried to find a file that I can edit in order to delete some of the form fields such as Gender, Description, Avatar, URL. I just wanted the regular joomla registration form. But also no use.

3. Top Panel module: I tried to change the word “top panel”, but everything I’ve tried failed. It stayed as is.

4. YOU ARE HERE (the most disturbing): I know disabling it from the module list does not help, but I have tried to change the language of this sentence and could not get it done although I’ve done some of the solutions I saw on joomla forum …… again, no use.

End of issue !

Please keep in mind that I am not a developer nor an advanced Joomla user. That’s why I thought JoomlArt and its fans will help.

Please could you post a link to your site so I can check your favicon issue.

All the other questions have been answered many times in these forums but lets go through them. I’ll start with the one you appear most concerned about, the YOU ARE HERE. For ease of translation that has been put in the language file which can be found at administratorlanguageen-GBen-GB.plg_system_jat3.ini, simply change as required but please do not forget to clear your jat3 cache after you make changes.

If you want rid of it completely then first you disable breadcrumbs then copy pluginssystemjat3base-themesdefaultblocksnavhelper.php to templatesja_socialblocksnavhelper.php. Once there (we copy and edit it in the template folder so your changes remain if you update the plugin) please edit the following lines as required

<strong><?php echo JText::_('You are here')?></strong> <jdoc:include type="module" name="breadcrumbs" />
</div>

We can look at the other things after this one is as you want it.

Even when I go to the favicon URL, it gives me “File not found”. I don’t know what the problems is.

If you browse to the favicon URL and it says file not found then assuming the file is there in the templates folder then check the premissions of that file.

It’s not available in any directory 🙁

I even did search in cPanel for favicon, but got 0 results.

The favicon should be in templates>ja_social>favicon.ico

If you wish to PM me an admin account, and ftp account and a copy of your favicon I am happy to make the change for you. Please also leave a link to this thread in your PM.
