How do i activate jomsocial 2.5? I downloaded everything have it active but I don’t see jomsocial

Hi
You need to install the JomSocial component first, after installed it you can activate modules
The Ja_Social template is not released with the JomSocial component

It is installed but it’s for whatever reason not showing up

Am still not 100% sure…on jomsocial website it has this template as an example using they’re plugin

do i need to purchase anything extra because what they’re offering is what am trying to accomplish however they want additional $$ and I was under the impression or at least I thought this was already included in this template, please explain or let me know what I need to do.

The Ja_Social template is already customized for JomSocial component you will have the theme for it in your download package
The Joomlart demo site is to show how will be your template after installed the component but it first needs to be purchased separately and installed
If you look at the Guide for the Ja_Social theme you will see
Step 1: Purchase JomSocial.
Step 2: Install JomSocial component
Step 3: Download Social theme for JomSocial at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downl…o=file&id=1802.
Step 4: Extract zip file and upload folder Components to your Joomla_site_path. It is right, if you see file ja-social in Joomla_site_path/components/com_community/templates.
Step 5: Go to Joomla! Admin>>Components>>JomSocial>>Configurations>>Layout>> choose ja_social and set parameter as per screen above.
