Hi zombiesonice,

The agora theme is not an installable theme. You need to copy the files in correct folder under components/com_agora..

Ok I did that but unfortunately issues remain.

1. The complete BB code panel is now there but none of the icons work. When clicked, nothing happens.
2. Attachments link is not working. Clicking this does nothing.
3. Preview button not working.
4. In forum view, if you hover over any of the latest posts, a brief description of the post is brought up over the posts title, but it can only be partially seen.
5. Some userbar buttons at the bottom of the post arent working. These are “quote selected” “add username” . (Also query on the split button – when clicked it takes the user to the top of the forum post. Unusual title if that’s what its meant to do? Is it?)

Hi,

Here is the status on your issues :

1. Forum legend icons missing => Fixed
2. The complete BB code panel when writing a post is missing. => fixed to display
3. Attachments link is not working. Clicking this does nothing. => bug of agora
4. Preview button not working. => bug of agora

apart from 1 and 2, if you activate the default agora theme, the remaining issues can be seen. So, they are more of agora bugs. You may ask the agora developers to fix them, in the mean time, i shall also forward the same to the agora devs.

1 and 2 are fixed in the version 1.2.2 of social template. Please confirm about the same.

While a final solution is found for the issue, here is what you can do to solve the issues right away.

1. Disable mootools upgrade plugin because agora has conficts with it.
2. Exclude optimize “agora and mootools” as image below (in your JA Social template settings backend)

thanks it solved my agora problems,but now when i open website i get this error as it seen in picture.When i refresh it open.I am not using any other compression tool apart from default JA

Thanks for those tips lads.
Seems all is good. Just that number 5 point and I think its a simple enough css fix.
Lets just hope my members prefer this over kuena or all is in vain 🙂

Any word on a better permanent fix.
The quickfix works but I have noticed considerable slower load times as a result and disabling mootools upgrade plugin is not ideal

Nope, that really is it. It is up to the Agora guys can fix their compatability with the MTU upgrade etc and that is something beyound the control of JA.
