Hi,

Any chance anyone could help me configuring JA Social Facebook Like Box[/U]? I tried replacing my facebook id on “Facebook Page ID” in the back-end. I also tried changing the ID on mod_jafacebooklikebox.php and mod_jafacebooklikebox.xml files but no luck. All I get is the attached facebook logo.

Please check the Facebook Page ID is correct. If this is wrong then only you will see this kind of an output.

Thanks for the quick reply Chavan. 15 digits facebook ID is correct but still no luck. Anyone else has any idea? Is there any configuiration required from the facebook end?.

you must create a Facebook page in this Url http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php

see i have created a sample page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Madurai/175743102477676

Then I added the page id “175743102477676” in the mod_jafacebooklikebox module.

For this you need to go to Admin panel : Extensions-> Module manager -> Facebook Like Box Module

To the parameter part of the Module edit page provide your facebook page id like below

Facebook Page ID = 175743102477676

Hi Chavan,

Thanks for your helpful guide. It worked. I DID NOT create the sample page on facebook which was causing the problem. All good now. Thanks again for the help.
