Hello,

We are a startup company and we’ve been using your JA Social Feed plugin for quite a while and we appreciate it lot. We were very happy to learn that you updated it to include RSS. We wish to use it to replace FeedGator. However, after buying and installing the new version of JA Social Feed, I see that it only indexes the short article text which is usually in the rss feeds. There is no possibility to index the entire article. And most importantly, even the link to go to full original article is not indexed. Are you maybe planning to improve this plugin to have some more options and be a bit more like FeedGator?

The link back only shows on com_content, not on K2, so if you want, we’ll help you to custom for K2 Item.

Are you maybe planning to improve this plugin to have some more options and be a bit more like FeedGator?

We’ll think about this, and consider to improve the RSS of Social Feed

We are also planning to replace feedgator with this plugin.

How ever we do get all ERRORS with all the RSS feeds we tested. FeedGator does the import without any problems…

@LunaGarden Thank you for your answer. It would be great if the plugin could extract full article text from the rss feed, display the link to full article and have a field in back-end to type the author’s name (so that If I typed for example BBC News that would be displayed as the article’s author). These are just suggestions if you consider some improvements. Best regards,
