Okay number one . . . JomSocial is NOT JoomlArt . . . . is that much understood?

Since when should JA’s workflow be dictated by the JomSocial crew?

It would only be released when the JA team have fully tested it. Jomsosial 2.6 was only released a very short time ago. When a new update for Jomsocial is released then JA need to schedule in the resources to test and fix any problems that may arise. It is far from as simple as it might seem. Jomsocial may have done a very good job but they are not to know if JA have made any recent chages to our framework or template that have yet to reach the latest release (which is certainly the case here).

So please be patient. It will be ready when it is ready and not before it has been fully tested by our own team. I know you all want to jump to the latest version but that is not always possible.

    Hi Guys,

Take it easy. Its month end and we are busy with preparing for monthly releases. Yes, we have received updated files from JomSocial and we would be working on the same after the already scheduled work is completed.

No commitment on date of release but will try to get it tested / released soon.

JA Social is Joomla! Template with supported styles for JomSocial and Kunena, lets not brand it as jomsocial template.

I have no problem in sharing the zip received from JomSocial, one can email me arvind@joomlart.com to get the same. But then take due backup while applying the zip patch.
