    Hi
Try to assign default Joomla template to a menu and see how it goes .
If the menu not applying the template style then there is something wrong with your Joomla , that does not applying the template style .
First i suggest you to do not update the Joomla as the template is not ready for it .Team is working on update process and you will get new template update soon .
Restore your site to with older site backup . If you want to test the Joomla update again i suggest you to try the Joomla update on New installation of site backup copy .

Do not update your sites without taking full backup .

    (renaming templatedetails.xml)

    Hi

It is not needed to rename files

You can simply create copy of default template from backend , then rename it and change layout assigned to it and assign it to different menu items.

    Best regards

The culprit was an outdated JBolo plugin causing the conflict.
