June 8, 2016 at 2:48 am #938710Hi @ppnilsson,
Is there any new notification persists on your site?
You can try switch default template – JA Social II – to a standard template of Joomla like Beez / Protostar and see how it goes.

January 24, 2017 at 9:18 pm #1005243Hi there,
I can now give you more details regarding this issue. This only happens on pages where K2 item.php gets loaded.
I further figured out that it is not due to the cache settings or other plugins on the site. I set all other things to off for testing.
On pages where k2 item.php get loaded I do get the following:
<span class="joms-js–notiflabel-frequest">0on all the other pages I do get:
<span class="joms-js–notiflabel-general">So in pages where k2 item.php gets loaded the notification module writes a "0" which gets presented in the proper css-style.
Any idea what to do?
thanks, regards, Peer

January 26, 2017 at 3:03 pm #1005880Hi Peer,
I tried to use this JS Notifications in standard template like Beez but also not see any new notifications.
So I think it shows 0 there is correct, could you check again?

January 27, 2017 at 9:28 am #1006077Dear Saguaros,
sorry but I don’t understand you. It can’t be correct that it shows "0" only in K2 items and doesn’t at other pages. Additionally it is very irritating to customers to see this information. The alert must show when a new information is there, so starting with "1" and not showing "0".
So it seems that there is some conflict with k2 items since it only shows up there. Don’t you have other customers using social ii template with jomsocial and k2 with the same problem?
thanks, regards, Peer

January 30, 2017 at 7:20 am #1006711Hi Peer,
Pls correct me if I’m wrong in understanding what you want here: you want to hide number ‘0’ if there is NO notification, then if have new one, it will show ‘1,2,3…’, is that correct?

January 31, 2017 at 2:08 pm #1007053Hi Peer,
I will pass to the team for further consideration on this because, by default, it will show number there.
Pls stay tuned.
