I’m using the JA-Social template and I’ve noticed that the JA-Slideshow module doesn’t not work in Internet Explorer, it doesn’t display any image, while in Chrome and Mozilla it works correctly.

Is there any chance to solve this issue?

JA Social is commercial template and as far I can see You are not licensed member.

Please make sure You are not using any warez template and post link to Your site so we could help You better.

I c what you mean… please try these several steps.

1. check to be sure your using the latest Joomla
2. upgrade ja_extension manager if needed
3. after reconfigure JAE please checkmark all tabs and then “find updates”
4. install any recommended updates.
5. should it still not work please turn off ‘acceleration” in IE.

Let us know how this goes.

I’m trying to upgrade to joomla 1.7 but I’m having troubles depending on the configuration of the hosting service.
I’ve asked them to solve the problem but I think it will take several days for them to answer!

Isn’t there any slideshow module for joomla 1.6.5 which works with the JA-social template in all browsers (just to quickly solve the problem)?

sounds like you need a new host… I know one that is starting up that you might like… let me know if you want me to put u in touch.
As for ja-social we JUST released a new version a day or so ago, you should give that a try and then let us know. Please put the “position” of the t3 plugin to 999
